Generall speaking, a sword will be
stated if it is Full Tang. If not stated, then most likely it is a Half Push Tang.

| The entire handle is the tang with the
handle scales attached to the sides. |

| Encapsulated Tang |
| Handle is molded around the tang. |

|

| Rat Tail Tang |
| A bolt or threaded pommel secures the blade
to the handle. |

|
|

| Half Push Tang |
| The tang is pushed into the handle and fixed
in place. |
|
|

| Half Tang |
| Approximately 1/2 of the handle is tang. |
|
|
|

| Full Push Tang |
| The tang is pushed into the handle and fixed
in place. |
